BRASS actively participated in the Rio Pipeline Conference 2011, which was held in the city of Rio de Janeiro on September 20th -22th. In this opportunity our Assistant Manager Nara Altmann spoke on Greenhouse Gasses (GHG) and their relevance when designing pipeline engineering. Out of 320, her presentation was the only one addressing with this topic. Although our direct participation in the construction and operating field is minor, it becomes evident that the reduction of the GHG emissions occurs during the designing stage.
One of the great challenges of the 21st Century is to reduce the climate change effects produced by the Greenhouse Gasses (GHG). It is in this context that BRASS has decided to estimate its carbon footprint. Therefore, we will be able to determinate the impact generated by our activities.
Along with the opening of new offices, located in Av. Cerro El Plomo 5420, Las Condes, on april 21, BRASS Chile celebrated its tenth anniversary of presence in Chile.
